OHS Mathematics--Ms. Schroeder

Hello!  My name is Ms. Schroeder and I am a member of the fabulous mathematics department at Owatonna High School!  This is my 12th year teaching high school math.  I spent my first eight years teaching in Redwood Falls, MN, where I taught everything from Intermediate Algebra through AP Calculus.  I am incredibly excited to be a part of OHS and get to know you this year!

I earned my BA in Mathematics and my 5-12 teaching license from St. Olaf College in Northfield, MN.  I then went on to get my MS in Education through SMSU in Marshall, MN.  I also have completed 19 credits worth of graduate level mathematics courses including Complex Analysis, Matrix Theory, Combinatorics and Graph Theory, and Abstract Algebra.  Outside of school, I enjoy running, sports of all sorts (soccer is my favorite though), baking, and spending time with my kids.  I have two little boys (Timmy is 6 and Theodore is 4) who keep me smiling and on the move every day!

I look forward to a successful year of learning and growing, for my students and for me!  Please contact me if you ever have any questions or concerns.
